LOOK OUT POST
Used for trust fall and a stage for all the group briefing.
The idea is for the group to cross the swamp by leaping from one stump to the other without anybody from the group falling, and the only time they can stem on the rim is during the start and at the end.
Another way to go about it is by the use of 2 wooden planks with a size of 1.2meter in length and 8 inches in width.
The idea is for the group to pass through the pit by crawling in with out any part of their body or clothing touching the braided rope.
Used as a monkey bar like the one at children’s playground but this one is higher and should be assisted by co-participants, some group hang clues on the bars and you have to cross it before you can get the clues or next instructions.
WALL OF SHAME
A 12 feet high wall the idea is for the whole group to scale the wall, every body will be coming from the bottom, and when some of the group members have already reached the top a maximum of 4 persons are allowed to remain on top. Participants that already climb or gone through and have already gone down the wall, can no longer help the participants that are still un-able to scale the wall. When the group has conquered the wall that’s the time they can call it the wall of fame.
The idea is for one group to stand on one side and another at the other side and they are to exchange place without any body falling.
FIRE ANT COLONY
Group activity, the group’s goal is for all of the member to reach the top of the hill without breaking the chain.
The purpose of this activity is for the group to strategize on how to get to the other side. The only way is through the square opening with a size of 2’ x 2’. They need to get across one at a time without any part of the body or even clothing touching the fence. Any part of the body of the person being transported touches the fence; everybody will go back or start all over again. This activity is timed. No stunts and no props are allowed to be used in this activity. The first and the last person to go through the opening shall be in a prone position.
THE ARROW HEAD
This is a buddy activity, the idea is for the two persons to walk across the cable facing each other and reach the end of the cable. They are to start at the area where the cable meets only their palms are their contact with each other, which they cannot break. Other members of the team are task to serve as safety spotter for the two person walking on the cable at least three spotters per person.
SPIDER WEB The web has 37 passable holes and the idea is for the whole group to get to the other side without any body touching the web. Each hole is passable by one person only.
1.40 FEET WALL CLIMB / SPORT CLIMB
The participant is fitted with a sit harness, chest harness and helmet. The object of this activity is for the participant to be able to climb to the top of the tower through the wall this is a simulation of a rock climb. The climber is belayed for safety. Climber is given safety orientation before climbing.
The Idea of this activity is to descend from a height using a rope. The participant is fitted with a sit harness, chest harness, helmet, gloves and a descender. The participant is to start with the mandatory 10 feet high rappel for them to get the feel of the activity after this initial activity they are ready for the 40 feet descend. Safety orientation is being conducted with the participants before the start of the activity.
SLIDE FOR LIFE / TYROLEAN TRAVERSE
The object of this activity is for the participant to travel from a high elevated area to a low level flat form with the use of a pulley. The participant is fitted with a sit harness, chest harness, helmets and gloves. On this activity the participant’s seat and chest harness is connected to the loop webbing, which is connected to a tandem cable pulley that runs on a 5 ton capacity crane cable, on this descend the participants speed is controlled by a belay rope connected on the back of his/ her harness. The purpose of this belay is to control the velocity of the participant and prevent him/her from slamming on the rope back stopper. At the other end of the traverse safety personnel are at the flat form to assist the participants getting un-hooked from the hardware. This activity is fear conquering.
THE TWO ROPE BRIDGE
The objective of a participant on this activity is to climb a 14 step ladder and walk sideways towards the center of the two suspended rope. The participants will be doing this while they are blindfolded. As soon as the participant reaches the middle part of the rope the facilitator or Team leader will give a command to the participant to lean back and let-go to a free fall. The participant is fitted with a full body harness (dorsal type) and a belay rope is connected to the back of the participant. The belay rope is controlled by safety personnel and/or by the participants.
